Senior Project Leaders exist to work as part of a single, unified, high-performing team to support their Transformation Lead's objective to mature our clients' ways of working to drive growth for their company. We do this by working with our Transformation Lead to continuously introduce 120VC better practices to the client's team and drive their initiatives forward as assertively as possible.
Qualifications for the role
Possess #GSD qualities and share #GSD values.
7+ years working as a Project Leader, with Big 5 consulting experience or similar.
Demonstrate an understanding of the Agile Manifesto & its 12 principles by sharing examples of how you have used them.
Demonstrate mastery of an Enterprise Project Management method by sharing examples of how you have used them to successfully deliver your past Enterprise projects.
Demonstrate proficiency in a market-leading Project Portfolio Management tool by sharing examples of how you have used one to move your past Enterprise Projects forward as assertively as possible.
Adept at communicating (leading) C-Level Executives.
Responsibilities
Your primary responsibility at 120VC is to enrich our team-focused culture by emphasizing collaboration, assistance, and shared knowledge. Engage closely with colleagues, ensuring ideas and solutions benefit the team. Performance will be assessed by your contribution to team unity, problem-solving, and overall success, not individual achievements.
Work closely with your 120VC Transformation Leader to pull the client and vendor team members together into a single, integrated, high-functioning team with a single Work Plan.
Demonstrated mastery of the 120VC Enterprise Project Standard in your weekly 1 to 1's with your Practice Leader.
Oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders.
Working with your Practice lead to interview, hire, train future 120VC team members. Facilitating SOW draft and execution.
Mentor 120VC Team Members in 120VC ways of working to ensure continuity and client satisfaction.
Plan, execute, and deliver projects, including acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party vendors.
Prioritize, manage, and groom the Work Plan to ensure that all work being executed improves customer satisfaction, team member satisfaction, or profitability, and quickly exits those that can't or won't.
Lead the unified project team forward as assertively as possible while identifying opportunities to mature the client team's effectiveness by helping them adopt 120VC's ways of working.
Schedule your Transformation Lead to attend at least 3 client leadership-facing meetings weekly.
Complete the 120VC Transformational Leadership Program (TLP) with a score of 90% or higher.
Meaningfully contribute to the 120VC Leadership Accelerator forum to develop professionally.
