Job Description:
Assistant Portfolio Manager
Direct Hire; $65K - $70K
Portland, OR
Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service through effective tenant communication
- Manage vendor relationships and contractor coordination across multiple properties
- Take charge of project management, from unit turns to large-scale improvements
- Assist with financial reporting, budget planning, and variance analysis using AppFolio
- Oversee lease administration for both residential and industrial tenants
- Support due diligence processes for potential acquisitions
- Handle light bookkeeping tasks and financial record-keeping
- Travel within Portland-metro area for property visits
- Occasional air travel (1-2 times per year) to other states for property due diligence
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Experience with AppFolio or similar property management software preferred
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Real Estate, or related field
- Industrial property experience a plus, but not required
- Valid driver's license required for property visits
- Self-motivated with strong critical thinking abilities
- High attention to detail
- Willingness to travel occasionally for property visits outside Oregon
