Patent Prosecution Attorney - Biotechnology or Chemical

Our client is a top firm, seeking an experienced Patent Attorney to join its dynamic practice in Washington, DC to handle patent prosecution in the biology, biotechnology, chemical and pharmaceutical sectors. This position may also be remote, with a preference for candidates residing in the DC area. The salary for this role is between $225k to $365k.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of patent prosecution and drafting experience focused on chemical or biotechnology applications.
• PTAB post-grant proceedings, and/or legal opinions experience.
• Advanced degree in biology, biochemistry, chemistry, or related discipline.
• USPTO registration required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; team focused.
• Strong academic credentials required.
