  • This position is hybrid. Candidates should be comfortable working onsite in the Canton neighborhood of Baltimore, MD two-to-three days per week.

Overview & Responsibilities

Our client, a leading health insurance provider, is seeking four (4) Senior Event Strategists to join their dynamic team. The Senior Event Strategists will support corporate sponsorships, events, hospitality, and key transformation initiatives. These roles involve working cross-functionally with internal divisions and external partners to plan and execute events successfully while enhancing brand awareness and favorability.

Responsibilities include:
  • Developing and implementing strategic plans to execute memorable events and sponsorships, suggesting innovative ideas and processes.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for event vendors and internal stakeholders, coordinating billing, logistics, promotion, and vendor/agency management.
  • Managing the design, production, and staffing of corporate, executive, and sponsor events, including hospitality programs.
  • Designing, implementing, and managing event, hospitality, and sponsorship strategies to support product launches, campaigns, and corporate initiatives.
  • Collaborating with leadership, media relations, and social media teams to develop presentations that generate awareness for events.
  • Maintaining accurate records of all contacts, budgets, and assets associated with events.
  • Regularly assessing the effectiveness of sponsorships and events, reporting on key metrics to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of corporate event planning experience, or a high school diploma with 9 years of experience in corporate event planning.
  • Experience using event management platforms such as Splash, Cvent, or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with ticket management platforms like TicketManager, TicketMaster, StubHub, and SeatGeek.
  • Proven success in planning, project management, and meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to foster effective interpersonal relationships and collaborate with executives and B2B clients.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to recognize, analyze, and resolve a variety of challenges.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency in presenting to leadership using PowerPoint.
  • Comprehensive pre- and post-event planning skillset.

Preferred Skills & Experience
  • Experience using project management software.
  • Background in coordinating diverse event types, including business-to-business, business-to-consumer, internal, and hospitality-focused events.
