You will report to the Resource Operations Manager in the US PWR Fuels Division. This opportunity is a hybrid/mobile position 2 - 3 days/week in the Cranberry Township, PA office.
Your Day to Day:
Responsible for all project management processes on medium to high complexity projects as assigned, leading medium-sized teams (average 10 - 30 team members).
Example project disciplines include Fuel and Reload Engineering/Safety Analysis Engineering, Software, Innovation/Product Development, and Process Improvement.
Complete all aspects of planning process including authoring project plans and developing scope, schedule, cost baselines, resource and financial forecasts, and risk registers.
Manage project execution to exceed quality, schedule, and financial goals while following the department protocols for acquiring team members to complete the work. This includes:
Manage the scope, schedule, cost/revenue, risk, quality, resources, communications, and partners while aligned with project/contract requirements.
Preparation and oversight of project cost/revenue expenditures, forecasts, and progress evaluations to support project and financial reporting requirements.
Promote teamwork including issuing and maintenance of project process metrics and process maps to ensure team, customer, and all partners are kept informed of project status.
Develop and oversee project databases and procedures to ensure efficient handling and transmission of internal/external project correspondence and documentation.
Close project by archiving work in financial, scheduling, document management, and resource management systems/tools and supplement the close out through identification and communication of opportunities for improvement, business growth, and risk avoidance for future work.
Who You Are:
As a successful candidate, you bring the following to the team:
Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business, or related technical discipline.
5 years of experience as project manager leading and directing medium or high complexity projects to successful completion.
Willingness to obtain Project Management Institute's Project Management Professional certification with our assistance.
Experience with Microsoft Office tools. Working knowledge in project schedule, cost and risk management processes and associated tools (e.g., Primavera, SAP, Active Risk Manager, or other related tools).
The ability to transform data to information for visual reports and presentations; database concepts to manage data within systems; the interaction of company functions that are touch points to projects (Finance, Legal, Quality, and Supply Chain).
Preferred
10 years of experience as project manager in a technical industry
Broad technical knowledge of nuclear power plants.
Project Management Institute's Project Management Professional certification, or approved equivalent.
