The IS SAP Training Principal Analyst is a new position in IS at Westlake. As the SAP Training Lead, you will oversee the development of content, manage Business Trainers, and guide Super Users, ensuring that all training initiatives are carried out with excellence. You will also be expected to champion a blended learning strategy, provide high-caliber training for trainers on a global scale, and collaborate with various department leads to guarantee extensive training support for all SAP S/4HANA workstreams. In addition to your training responsibilities, you may also have ad hoc change management responsibilities as needed for major IS projects.
When you join Westlake, you will be the Training Lead on the Global ERP Modernization and Consolidation project (Project GEM) for the next 3 to 5 years. In this role, you will have two major objectives. First, you will be the driving force behind the successful global rollout of SAP Enable Now for Westlake, ensuring its successful adoption as the go-to resource for SAP S/4 training. Your second major objective is the development of training materials that proactively address and mitigate management's apprehensions about the impending impact of changes. Additionally, you are tasked with confirming that all sites possess the requisite training to achieve a state of readiness for the go-live phase of IS projects, assuring a smooth transition to SAP S/4HANA.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
May include, but are not limited to, the following:
Spearhead training in support of IS Business Solutions, overseeing Content Developers, Business Trainers, and Super Users.
Partner with stakeholders and Subject Matter Representatives (SMRs) to design and develop training curricula that meet the specific needs of business roles and the organization's objectives.
Champion the adoption of SAP Enable Now, facilitating its integration as the primary training tool for SAP S/4HANA and for additional business application solutions.
Establish global standards and guidelines for the current and future advancement of SAP Enable Now.
Advocate and support a blended learning model for SAP training, incorporating various modalities such as eLearning, instructor-led training, virtual classrooms, and on-the-job training.
Deliver high-quality training programs for trainers globally, ensuring they are equipped to effectively disseminate knowledge of SAP S/4 and other business application solutions.
Liaise with IS Functional Leads, Business Leads, and other key stakeholders to ensure comprehensive training materials are developed leveraging SAP Enable Now.
Oversee the creation of training content, ensuring it aligns with business objectives and user needs.
Empower business SMRs and IS resources to develop training utilizing SAP Enable Now.
Monitor and continuously improve training strategies to align with evolving business needs and technology advancements.
Demonstrate problem solving abilities and communicate solutions to senior management.
Utilize technology to streamline, automate, and / or increase efficiency in processes and reporting.
Fully supports Company goals of continuous improvement and operational excellence at strategic and tactical levels including reviewing area of responsibility for improvement opportunities to initiate projects or communicate ideas to management as well as active participation on project teams.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in a related field; Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CTT+, S/4HANA certifications) preferred.
Minimum 10 years of experience supporting business applications and/or project management experience
Experience managing teams and working in a project environment.
Proven effectiveness in deploying and leveraging training platforms like Cornerstone and SAP Enable Now to facilitate educational programs for expansive software application initiatives.
Strong understanding of SAP S/4 functionality and business application training requirements.
Skilled in crafting and promoting a mix of learning approaches, ensuring effective knowledge transfer across digital and traditional platforms.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Versatile in creating educational content and delivering training programs tailored to the needs of a varied audience.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate as normally based in an office. May be exposed to manufacturing environments on a limited basis. Some of the work may be required in the operating units which can require usage of required PPE including safety glasses, hearing protection, etc. May also result in exposure to outside elements and may require usage of stairs and elevators. Travel including air travel or auto travel may occasionally be required.
