The Role:
The Entegris site in Bedford, Massachusetts is currently seeking a Project Manager to take the lead on high-level capital related projects related for our site expansion and business growth related to our Echucks/Specialty Coatings Business.
The primary role of the Project Manager (PM) will be to guide successful completion of major manufacturing expansion projects to improve lead time and capacity for the Echucks product line. The PM will work with Operations, Engineering, Facilities, EHS, Quality and other business units to make sure all projects meet timeline and budget goals, while also ensuring that all safety and quality requirements are met and exceeded. In this role, you will be constantly providing updates to all stakeholders on project timeline, hold the team supporting the project accountable to timeline, think outside of the box to avoid timeline delays.
What You'll Do: • Manage all product and process related aspects of the manufacturing expansion project • Work with internal stakeholders to define needs, timeline, and limitations that need to be considered and create effective plan to achieve project goals while not impacting existing production and still meeting regulatory and quality guidelines. • Develop and document project roadmap with timeline and execute it. • Work closely with the facilities project manager who is responsible for delivering facilities space to the operations team. • Ensure appropriate resources are dedicated to the project to meet project goals • Keep track of schedule and milestones to ensure all responsible parties (both internal stakeholders and external vendors) are meeting their commitments and project remains on track • Communicate project status regularly to internal stakeholders, highlight risks, offer/ seek solutions from the team to keep up with the timeline in a appropriate cadence. • Manage scope of project - drive manufacturing excellence in every decision and maintain appropriate perspective around business needs. • Ensure all projects meet the allocated budget without exceeding the budget by better planning in advance. • Drive manufacturing assessment of and successful handoff of new equipment and process to manufacturing. This includes the need for the following: process documentation, maintenance plans, safety procedures, spare parts, training, tool matching, etc.
Requirements: • 2-3+ years related work experience in a similar Project Management role. • BS degree in Engineering or Project Management required. • Demonstrated success in leading and developing operations/ capex projects involving multiple internal or external (vendor) organizations • Motivated and self-directed team player with good interpersonal skills • Must have ability to reach out, communicate and influence personnel at all levels within the organization. • Experience within Lean and Six Sigma methodologies • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • PMP Certification is preferred • Ability to travel Domestic/International up to 10% of the time.
