Our client, a premier commercial roofing company in Jessup, MD, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commercial Roofing Project Manager to join their growing team. You will oversee project timelines, budgets, quality control, safety protocols, and client relationships. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and extensive experience in commercial construction, with a particular emphasis on roofing systems.
Location: Jessup, MD
Pay: $110k-$120k/annually
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Responsibilities:
Manage project schedules, labor coordination, and material procurement, working closely with the General Superintendent.
Review and monitor project budgets, track expenditures, identify variances, and implement corrective actions.
Specify and procure roofing materials, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with project needs.
Identify process improvements, resolve project challenges, and enhance productivity, quality, and customer service.
Ensure compliance with roofing codes, regulations, and safety standards; enforce quality control practices on-site.
Maintain clear communication with clients, vendors, and contractors, ensuring projects meet expectations and deadlines.
Qualifications:
5+ years in project management, with a focus on commercial roofing or construction, including managing labor, materials, and budgets.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
Expertise in commercial roofing systems, project scheduling, cost control, and proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project).
Preferred certifications: PMP, OSHA 30-hour Safety Certification, and roofing industry certifications (e.g., NRCA, IIBEC).
