Senior Project Manager

One of our leading construction management clients in Orlando is looking for a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead multiple project teams and ensure successful delivery of high-quality institutional, commercial, and residential projects. With over 20+ years of experience, the company provides tailored construction solutions, focusing on both new builds and renovations, and consistently exceeding client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and support Project Managers in all aspects of project execution, including contract administration, scheduling, procurement, budget management, and closeout, ensuring all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
  • Maintain a sharp focus on project profitability, ensuring financial goals are met through effective management of resources, budgets, and schedules.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, delivering on promises and ensuring a high level of client satisfaction to promote repeat business.
  • Lead pre-construction planning, ensuring thorough analysis and risk management strategies are in place before project kick-off.
  • Provide guidance in bid reviews, ensuring projects meet budget and timeline expectations, and manage the procurement process to avoid delays or last-minute purchases.
  • Actively manage project schedules, identify potential delays early, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
  • Ensure risk management practices are upheld, from securing Change Orders to addressing issues with underperforming subcontractors.
  • Guide the team in using project management tools to track all change orders, ensuring timely resolution and cost recovery.
  • Drive financial success by developing strategies that maximize project profitability and cash flow, while ensuring timely payments to subcontractors and vendors.
  • Implement and monitor an effective closeout process, ensuring all contract requirements are fulfilled and client satisfaction is maintained.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience, with a solid understanding of construction cost control, scheduling, estimating, and project management principles.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills, with the ability to guide teams and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
