Job Summary: Sr Project Manager (Water/Wastewater - PE REQUIRED)
**Salary up to $175k, plus bonus, plus profit sharing (ESOP)**
The Senior Project Manager - Water/Wastewater will lead and manage complex water and wastewater projects from inception to completion. This role will be responsible for client relations, project planning, design oversight, resource management, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
Manage the full life cycle of water and wastewater projects, including planning, design, permitting, and construction phases.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
Client Relationship Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders and partners.
Identify and pursue opportunities for new projects and contracts.
Technical Leadership:
Provide technical oversight and guidance to project teams, including engineers, designers, and subcontractors.
Review and approve project deliverables, designs, and reports.
Resolve technical challenges and ensure the application of best practices and innovative solutions.
Team Leadership and Development:
Lead, mentor, and develop project team members.
Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Risk and Financial Management:
Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Monitor project costs, forecast potential overruns, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
Master's degree is a plus.
Licensure:
Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
Experience:
8-10 years of progressive experience managing water and wastewater projects.
Demonstrated experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams.
Skills and Competencies:
Proven project management skills, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
Strong knowledge of water/wastewater treatment processes, distribution systems, and infrastructure design.
Familiarity with industry standards (AWWA, WEF, etc.) and regulatory requirements.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera) and design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
