The Regional Vice President will act as the Regional Managers' Supervisor, the Affordable Portfolio Officer, the Asset Preservation Coordinator, the Client Relations & Company Coordinator, the Compliance Regulator, the Customer Service Coordinator, and the Financial Analyst.
Responsibilities
Collaborating with development teams during the planning phase to ensure new properties meet company standards and align with long-term strategic goals.
Overseeing the budgeting process for new developments, ensuring that projects remain on budget while meeting quality and timeline expectations.
Coordinating with construction and development teams to ensure that projects are progressing as planned, addressing any operational challenges that arise during development.
Overseeing the lease-up process for new developments, ensuring smooth onboarding of residents, marketing, and maximizing occupancy rates
Ensuring optimal financial and operational performance of stabilized affordable properties. Regularly review property financials, occupancy, and operating expenses, implementing strategies to improve profitability.
Leading and coaching Regional Managers, Property Managers, and on-site teams, ensuring alignment with company goals and providing ongoing professional development and support.
Driving operational best practices to ensure efficient day-to-day operations, focusing on proactive maintenance, resident satisfaction, and expense control.
Ensuring that all properties within the portfolio comply with affordable housing regulations, including LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) and HUD requirements. Oversee periodic compliance audits and reporting
Developing and implement strategies for optimizing the performance of both new and existing properties, ensuring that they meet occupancy and financial benchmarks.
Identifying opportunities for increasing revenue across the portfolio, such as rent increases and cost-saving initiatives.
Leading a team of Regional Managers providing guidance, mentoring, and performance feedback. Foster a positive, collaborative team environment.
Ensuring all properties meet safety standards and oversee security measures to protect both residents and property assets.
Ensuring that all properties in the portfolio provide a high level of customer service to residents. Oversee efforts to enhance resident satisfaction, retention, and community engagement.
Qualifications
6+ years' experience in multi-region management and development
Strong leadership and team management skills
Expertise in affordable housing LIHTC
Strong financial background with experience in budging, forecasting, and financial reporting
Ability to travel extensively (up to 50% of the time) to both local and nationwide locations, as necessary
CPM Certification
Preferred Qualifications
Degree or accreditation in business, finance, leadership, and/or project management
Experience using RealPage product suite
CAM, or CAPS Certification(s) in addition to the CPM Certification.
Compensation* $95,000 - $125,000
*Final agreed-upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
