Job Description:

About Quilt Health

Quilt Health is building a platform to accelerate access to transformative care for rare and complex conditions, starting with Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) and other complex hematologic conditions. We are at a watershed moment in medical and scientific innovation, with a biopharma pipeline full of therapies with the potential to alter the course of a growing range of diseases. Yet, access to cutting edge care for these diseases is fragmented, inefficient, and inequitable. Through an engagement platform and tools that streamline care delivery and research, we act as accelerators, powering Research and Development (R&D) and drug access and removing barriers to treatment that could undermine years of progress and investment.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Product Leader to define and shape our product from the ground up. Initially, in this role, you will work closely with Quilt's founding team and network of clinical experts to deliver a first version of our product to share with potential customers. As we gain feedback, you'll be responsible for continuing to refine our product strategy and guide product iteration in a way that promotes business growth.

We're specifically looking for a team member who is exceptional at translating big picture thinking and business goals into a product vision while also being able to roll up their sleeves and collaborate to drive the execution of that vision. You're comfortable with ideating and solutioning with stakeholders to arrive at product features, articulating the objectives of features, defining success for them, and collaborating with the team to create, validate, and iterate on them. In short, you'll lead product development through all phases in collaboration with leadership, design, and engineering.

We expect to form product design partnerships with a number of health systems, representing both top-tier research organizations and safety net and community health systems. The Product Leader will manage and steward these relationships, coordinating internal and external teams to research, design and iteratively build tools integrated into clinical and research workflows that improve operational efficiency and user experiences and generate new revenue opportunities for the health systems and Quilt.

If you're excited about the opportunity to join a mission-driven organization and manage a product from its earliest stages to maturity, this could be the perfect role for you!

Responsibilities

  • Translate business strategy into a clear product vision and strategy.
  • Lead the product lifecycle from concept to market - from market research and analysis to requirements, roadmap development, product launch, and iteration.
  • Analyze customer needs and feedback, current market trends, and potential partnerships to define and shape the product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
  • Own the product roadmap by defining it, prioritizing features, maintaining alignment with stakeholders and team members, resolving dependencies, coordinating releases, and meeting deadlines.
  • Drive product development by leading Agile ceremonies like sprint planning, backlog grooming, prioritization and estimation, writing stories and acceptance criteria, and defining releases.
  • Manage and steward relationships with partner health systems, coordinating internal and external resources to iteratively research, design, and build tools integrated with clinical and research workflows.

Requirements

  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Located in or near Boston, MA or willing to relocate
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent PM experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of technical product management experience (healthcare experience is a plus!)
  • Proven success in overseeing all elements of the software product development lifecycle
  • Experience working in an Agile setting
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a startup environment
  • Strong problem solving and decision making skills
  • Ability to build alignment and set clear expectations cross functionally
  • Experience with Confluence and Jira, or similar product management tool

Benefits

  • Generous flexible time off policy
  • Rest and recharge week during holidays
  • Hybrid working model
  • Casual dress code
