Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Director of Manufacturing/Production Director at ECD Auto Design. The Production Director will oversee day-to-day production planning, management, quality control, manufacturing, and strategic planning processes to ensure the continued success and growth of the company.
Overall Responsibility
Supports the Production, Planning and Quality Control teams in strategically planning the ECD Production Lines from teardown to shipping, encompassing all the different projects that are simultaneously being produced by all departments. This position is responsible for the overall utilization of data from past and current production projects to inform future planning, highlight areas to review complexity, efficiency and budget and identify recommendations for improvement. Collaborates with Production Managers and Department Leaders, while managing dashboards, reports, and tools, to drive production analysis that informs production efficiency and decision making.

Production Managers and Quality Control Inspector
Main Responsibilities
Manage the use of build sheets as an effective tool for improving build consistency and quality, analyzing the effectiveness of implementation via the Production Managers and Quality Control Inspector.
Creates initial production plans and schedules for projects from teardown to shipping to incorporate the timelines into the overall production plan. Works collaboratively with parts, warehouse and finance to ensure a streamlined process, conscious of build budgets and client contractual timeframes.
Creates and consolidates production scenarios to provide recommendations on how best to optimize resources, minimize production risks and provide options for the most efficient production process.
Responsible for data from past and current projects and uses this data to generate production dashboards, reports and presentations to highlight areas to review complexity, efficiency and budgets to inform decision making and future planning.
Ensuring that all BOM's are responsive to the changing needs of the Production Line, utilizing the BOM analyst to produce strategic changes.
Migrate the Quality Control phases to the production build phases to create a more reactive and timely response to the build quality.
Reports and Strategizes with the CPO, CEO and CTO leadership team, to maximize production efficiencies and develop new avenues of production.
Partners with Finance to realize financial impacts at both the production levels that are driven by production planning assumptions and balanced with quality control objectives.
Develops workforce planning in collaboration with the CPO and Production Managers, to ensure the highest skill in the teams at each department level, adding any further management divisions as needed under growth and scaling plans.
