Job Description:

Vaco is hiring for a HR-Payroll Administrator located in Delray Beach, FL.

Primary responsibility is to process payroll and benefit enrollments. Prepare check request for 401(k), monthly insurance benefits, and mandatory withholdings. Reconcile related general ledger accounts and resolve payroll discrepancies with employee and department managers. Run payroll related reports for management as requested.

Overview:
  • Send out payroll reminders via email on Payroll Mondays for each payroll
  • Run report for the time punches outside of current allocation report
  • Set up data for each payroll and expense management
  • Pull in payroll and load data sets
  • Begin processing payroll by verifying hours and available sick and vacation time
  • Continuously review timesheets to ensure approvals are done
  • Run report and check to data to ensure proper coding and correct any errors
  • Complete any payroll changes in a timely manner to ensure smooth and timely payroll processing
  • Verify current to previous payroll registers
  • Run the Fidelity report each Monday
  • Add 401(K) percentage changes and loans
  • Handle VOEs when needed
  • Batch approve time-off requests
  • Send CSM report to the accounting department for allocation splits
  • Enter CSM commissions on the 1st of each month
  • Run bi-weekly overtime report for CFO
  • Run weekly OT reports for the Exec VP of Finance
  • Process new hire authorization (NHA) forms and payroll action change (PAC) forms changes in paycom
  • Process Dynnamo payroll
  • Post payrolls
  • Attend paycom learning modules as time permits
  • Assist/Train employees on how to use the Paycom seld-service protal
  • Set up new users and send them their login information
  • Reset passwords with 2 verification identifiers when needed
  • Scan invoices into system
  • Scan bi-weekly payroll changes into corresponding HR employee files
  • Work with Paycom to resolve payroll issues
  • Assist with other projects as needed
Experience/Skills/Education:
  • Degree or equivalent experience
  • Paycom experience required
  • 3-6 years related experience within payroll and human resources
  • Advanced MS Office skill set
  • Previous experience with high volume payroll processing
  • Strong data entry experience including spreadsheets
  • Experience with garnishments and unemployment
  • Superior organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and manage tasks
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate, empathize and reason with people in situations that are often offensive and stressful
  • Team player, but also capable of working independently
  • Ability to work some weekends or overtime when needed
