Develop and review payroll-related policies and procedures as needed.
Lead, manage, and mentor a team of payroll professionals.
Manage third-party vendor relationships for payroll processing.
Ensure timely and accurate calculation of earnings and payments, maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations.
Oversee timely processing of payroll files to meet strict deadlines.
Ensure payroll transactions are accurately classified and comply with accounting principles and audit requirements.
Collaborate with HR and Accounting to ensure data accuracy and proper accounting for transactions.
Maintain open communication across departments, particularly with Venues, to ensure client satisfaction.
Identify and implement opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements.
Effectively manage multiple priorities and achieve results with minimal supervision.
Lead payroll efforts for Workday payroll implementation.
Provide training on financial systems as needed.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Carry out supervisory duties in line with company policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training, assigning tasks, evaluating performance, and addressing employee concerns in collaboration with Human Resources.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (required).
10+ years of payroll operations experience.
Hands-on experience with Workday payroll processing.
Proven ability to lead and manage payroll departments in large, multi-location organizations.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; aptitude for learning and supporting new technologies.
In-depth knowledge of payroll and accounting procedures, as well as payroll tax laws and regulations.
Strong ability to work independently while fostering team collaboration.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
