Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Technical Instructor to support a SQ improvement project by developing and implementing soldering standards and training programs. This is an exciting opportunity to work with the assembly team to enhance soldering techniques and deliver impactful training sessions. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement soldering standards for improved assembly techniques.
Deliver technical training programs to internal and external customers, focusing on soldering and electronics.
Assess employee training needs and performance gaps.
Adapt training content to different learning styles and performance needs.
Collaborate with the assembly team to teach improved soldering techniques and ensure high-quality standards are met.
Top 3 Skills Required:
Soldering - Expertise in soldering techniques and standards.
Electronics - Strong knowledge in electronics and their application in assembly processes.
Training Delivery - Proven experience in delivering technical training and professional development programs.
Additional Skills:
Ability to work closely with assembly teams.
Experience in curriculum development and adapting training content to suit diverse audiences.
IPC J-STD certification is highly preferred.
Tools Used:
Soldering equipment and related tools.
Qualifications:
4+ years of relevant experience in product service line operations, soldering, and training delivery.
Diploma required (associate's degree or equivalent preferred).
Ability to travel as needed.
Certifications/Requirements:
IPC J-STD certification is ideal.
No MVR/Driving Record history required.
DOT: Not Required (ND).
