Position Summary
Office Administrator and Social Responsibility Coordinator provides comprehensive support in both administrative and social responsibility. This role will involve managing day-to-day office operations, coordinating schedules, and handling correspondence, while also supporting HR tasks such as talent acquisition, onboarding, employee records, among other support. The position also involves managing office operations while contributing to the organization's commitment to community engagement, sustainability, and ethical practices.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary.
Schedule meetings and appointments; manage staff calendars and arrange travel.
Prepare and organize paperwork and other materials as needed for meetings, leadership team, accounting team, and business trips.
Process expense reports and manage invoices.
Provide general administrative support to the management team.
Help plan and execute company events, meetings, luncheons, and other office-related gatherings.
Support HR duties such as maintaining records, posting jobs, scheduling interviews, performance reviews, and onboarding new hires.
Support with managing HR software, Rippling (payroll, expenses, time off, etc).
Work with outsourced HR consultants as needed on HR efforts.
Manage local Bend gear rental program
Implement and maintain procedures/administrative systems.
Liaise with facility management vendors, including cleaning, catering, and security services.
Help coordinate volunteer activities, charity events, and partnerships with local non-profit organizations.
Help create and maintain reports on CSR activities, including impact assessments and progress toward goals.
Support sustainability efforts, including waste reduction, energy efficiency, and promoting environmentally friendly practices within the workplace.
Foster a culture of social responsibility within the company by encouraging employee participation in initiatives and promoting CSR achievements.

Qualifications
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides, etc).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload.
Discretion with personal and confidential information.
Strong understanding of social responsibility concepts, community engagement, and sustainability initiatives.
A passion for social responsibility and sustainability is highly desirable.
Experience working in a start-up environment or outdoor industry is a plus!

Part-time
Rate: $20/hr
Onsite in Bend, OR, remote not considered.
Reports to: Chief Branding Officer, CEO, Social Responsibility Lead
Language Ability
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of word processing software; spreadsheet software; database software. Comfortable building and maintaining documents and processes in Google Suite.
