Senior Income Tax Preparer and/or Reviewer with Technology Integration Experience
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Income Tax Preparer and/or Reviewer with a strong proficiency in technology to join our team. This role involves preparing and/or reviewing individual, trust, foundation, and partnership tax returns, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws, and identifying opportunities for clients to maximize tax benefits. The ideal candidate will not only have extensive knowledge of tax codes but also the ability to leverage technology and tax software systems to streamline processes, improve accuracy, and enhance efficiency in tax preparation and filing.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and/or review, and timely file accurate income tax returns for individuals.
Analyze client financial data to identify potential tax-saving opportunities and resolve discrepancies.
Stay updated on tax law changes and regulatory updates, ensuring that clients receive the most current and effective tax strategies.
Utilize tax preparation software and other technology tools to automate processes, improve accuracy, and reduce manual errors.
Integrate tax systems and technology solutions to streamline workflows and enhance overall efficiency in the tax preparation process.
Provide excellent client service by addressing questions and concerns, offering timely advice, and maintaining clear communication.
Train and mentor staff on the use of technology tools.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Income Tax Preparer and/or Reviewer with a strong track record of preparing or reviewing complex tax returns.
Expertise in using tax preparation software and other relevant technology tools.
Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
Detail-oriented, with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain tax concepts to clients clearly.
Proficient in integrating and automating tax systems to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Active CPA, Enrolled Agent, or JD required.
