We are looking for a motivated Tax Analyst to join our myPay Solutions team. Your knowledge and experience with payroll and customer service will make a difference to the professionals we serve and the companies we partner with across the country.
What will you be doing?
As a Tax Analyst, you will be supporting the tax filing service account reconciliation process, tax payment and filing processes, and the ACH transmission process as necessary. This position will interface between payroll processing operations and tax operations establishing controls that will produce high-quality information exchange, ensure accurate reporting and minimizing exposure. The position will also backup tax account setup functions as required.
Principal Accountabilities:
Timely and accurately accomplish assigned duties, including but not limited to electronic banking services, payments, account setup/maintenance, account research, tax notices, etc., as part of a dynamic and cohesive team.
Research account discrepancies as necessary to ensure efficient and accurate payments and reporting on behalf of our clients at all times.
Manage the gap between new account setup, payroll processing and tax operations by performing review and control tasks that will result in high-quality information exchange between the groups.
Meet reporting deadlines for all assigned states, including follow-up on submission errors and verification of successful completion.
Perform quality work as measured by timely follow-up on outstanding issues, proper and timely responses to clients and co-workers, proactive status reports, usage of effective time management and organization skills.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree preferred
2-3 years payroll/payroll tax experience preferred
High level of attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Self-directed and organized
Advanced PC knowledge - (Windows, Excel, Word, Outlook)
Ability to adapt quickly within a dynamic environment
