Our client is seeking a Data Warehouse Developer to join their team! This position is located in Hopkins, Minnesota.
Duties:
Responsible for all phases of the software development lifecycle
Provide application development and maintenance for all phases of the software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, and implementation
Design and maintain complex ETL processes that load from both data files and other databases
Develop and maintain complex PL/SQL functions and procedures
Create and optimize complex SQL queries for reports and applications
Provide input to project plans that includes estimates of tasks, duties and technologies for future releases and write technical documentation
Provide end user support and problem diagnosis and resolution
Perform all assignments in accordance with ESH&Q, Security, and business practice requirements and policies
Provide expert level development support of PL/SQL functions, procedures, and database architecture
Provide advanced SQL tuning skills to complex queries, ETL's, and data processing
Provide advanced support towards the IT needs for financial and/or budget and planning applications
Desired Skills/Experience:
10+ years of experience managing big data sets effectively
5+ years of experience with Spark-Scala, Spark-SQL, or Spark-Py
5+ years of experience building microservices-based applications
4+ years of experience utilizing tools such as Maven, Docker, Kubernetes, Kibana, ELK, and Jenkins, as well as frameworks like Spring Boot for developing and deploying microservices
4+ years of experience using CI/CD processes for application software integration and deployment with tools such as Maven, Git, and Jenkins
4+ years of experience building scalable and resilient applications in private or public cloud environments using cloud technologies
3+ years of experience working with server-side languages such as Python, Java, or GoLang
3+ years of experience with tools like Airflow, Elastic, and Azure
Good knowledge of Mainframe COBOL to understand rules in the Strata rules engine
