We are seeking a dynamic and experienced MEP HVAC Project Manager to lead HVAC-focused projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of mechanical systems, strong leadership abilities, and a commitment to delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership:
Oversee all aspects of HVAC system installation and integration for MEP projects, ensuring alignment with client expectations and company standards.
Scheduling:
Develop and manage project schedules, coordinating with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery.
Budget Management:
Monitor project budgets, track costs, and implement strategies for cost control and efficiency.
Client Relations:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing concerns, providing updates, and ensuring satisfaction.
Team Coordination:
Collaborate with design teams, field staff, and subcontractors to resolve issues and ensure seamless project execution.
Quality Assurance:
Conduct on-site inspections and ensure all work complies with project specifications, codes, and standards.
Risk Management:
Identify and mitigate risks to project timelines, budgets, and quality.
Documentation:
Prepare and maintain detailed project records, including change orders, schedules, and reports.
Safety Oversight:
Enforce company and OSHA safety policies to ensure a safe work environment for all team members.
Qualifications
Experience:
5+ years of experience in HVAC project management, preferably within an MEP contractor environment.
Experience managing large commercial and industrial projects is highly desirable.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, construction management, or a related field preferred.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, installation methods, and MEP coordination.
Proficient in project management software (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project).
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Certifications:
PMP, LEED AP, or similar certifications are a plus.
