Key Responsibilities:
Bill of Materials (BOM) Management: Oversee and maintain accurate BOMs, ensuring all components, specifications, and production requirements are clearly defined and aligned with the manufacturing process.
Continuous Improvement: Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects aimed at optimizing production efficiency, reducing waste, and enhancing product quality. Use Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to identify areas for improvement.
Manufacturing Support: Provide engineering support to production teams, troubleshooting issues, and providing technical solutions to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of manufacturing processes.
Process Design & Optimization: Analyze production processes, identify bottlenecks, and develop and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs.
Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with production, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure alignment across departments, resolving challenges, and driving efficiency.
Documentation & Reporting: Create and update technical documentation, process flows, and standard operating procedures. Regularly report on project status, key performance indicators (KPIs), and performance metrics to senior leadership.
Training & Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and training to junior engineers and manufacturing teams, ensuring knowledge transfer and skill development.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing engineering
Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
Experience in packaging manufacturing or a similar heavy-duty production environment is preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
