Position Overview
A leading maintenance services company in Hawaii is seeking an experienced Chief Operating Officer to drive organizational vision, operational strategy, and performance. The company specializes in janitorial/retail maintenance, engineering, restoration, and HVAC services, serving various clients, including banks, commercial offices, preschools, and large apartments.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with the CEO to set organizational vision and operational strategy.
Translate strategy into actionable goals and implement performance management.
Oversee company operations, ensuring employee productivity and organizational outcomes.
Manage recruitment, onboarding, professional development, and retention.
Oversee janitorial and retail maintenance, with potential to expand to other areas.
Supervise 15 account managers, Director of Business Development, and Marketing/Communications Manager.
Conduct inter-island travel and video check-ins with neighbor island managers.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local business requirements.
