Carrie Moore Interior Design is looking for a highly organized and proactive Studio Manager to join our team and help keep our operations running smoothly. This individual will ensure the office is well-organized, manage administrative tasks, and provide support to our design team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and thrives in a creative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day office operations, including scheduling, correspondence, and maintaining office supplies.
Maintain and organize materials library, ensuring samples are up-to-date and easily accessible for the design team.
Serve as the first point of contact for clients, vendors, and visitors, providing a welcoming and professional presence.
Assist with project management by tracking timelines, budgets, and client communication.
Assist designers by obtaining estimates, samples, and quotes for various projects.
Support designers by preparing proposals for various projects.
Assist procurement team by placing, processing, and tracking vendor orders for various projects, including receiving, inspecting and storing of FF&E.
Support designers through performing miscellaneous design assistant duties.
Qualifications
Proven experience in office management, administrative support, or a related role (experience in design or creative industries is a plus).
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with a strong attention to detail.
Proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Adobe) and familiarity with design studio management software is preferred.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality in client interactions.
A proactive and problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Able to work in-person at the Durham studio Monday to Friday, 8 am - 5 pm EDT.
