The Leader EHS is responsible for the assistance and creation in the of improvement policies and programs; maintaining compliance of current and future internal and external regulations and standards.
Responsibilities:
Monitor EHS performance, identify risks, areas of improvement, conduct and manage EHS audits and on-site inspections to identify EHS workplace hazards.
Assist with the investigation of EHS incidents, prepare reports and recommendations, implement waste management programs, develop and drive EHS trainings , manage relationships with community of EHS stakeholders.
Research, evaluate and recommend changes to improve EHS performance.
Provide expertise and advice on EHS issues to plant employees
Eliminate the risk of occupational injury and illness, and environmental non-compliance in a manufacturing environment.
Lead, direct, evaluate and develop a team of EHS professionals.
Implementation of EHS systems according to norms ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and OHSAS.
Maintain relationships with the community, EHS groups, or other stakeholders impacted by the EHS performance of the organization.
Coordinate compliance audits, inspections, including insurance inspections.
Ensure all new equipment meets all legal and requirements.
Help set the standard and cultivate the EHS culture in the plant.
Required Education:
Bachelor's level degree
Area of study: EHS or similar.
Required Qualifications:
3-5 Minimum Years of Experience.
1-3 Minimum Years of Experience within the automotive industry
