As an Architect, you will be instrumental in creating functional, sustainable, and aesthetically compelling designs that align with our clients' vision and project goals. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver seamless design solutions from concept to completion.
Duties/Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain relationships beyond the jobsite

Accommodate and represent the owner's best interest at all times
Demonstrates an ability to lead a project team and balance the workload of multiple projects at a time
Work directly with other team members during the conceptual development of project assignments
Coordinate and manage engineering consultant throughout projects
Design Management
Conceive, design and prepare working drawings for new and/or modified structures
Lead design and technical development for projects and oversee them to completion of construction
Makes project decisions with regard to project budget, owner expectations and with clear direction to all team members
Prepare scale drawings or architectural designs using BIM (building information modeling) or other tools
Prepare design information, specifications, FF&E (fixtures, furnishings and equipment) within a defined timeline
Risk Management
Responsible for check set review, code compliance and risk management review of assigned projects
Prepare contract documents for construction
Incorporate Hutton's standards into all design aspects of the project
Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Expertise with software including Revit (BIM), 3D rendering programs, SketchUp, Bluebeam and Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to interpret architectural and engineering plans and specifications
Strong technical, written and oral communication skills
Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, approaches and conclusion to problems
Ability to imagine and demonstrate how something will look when it is finished to an owner
Capable of developing, designing or creating new applications, ideas, relationships, systems or products, including artistic contributions
Understanding and ability to provide all necessary construction documentation, detailed instructions, drawings, and specifications to build a project
Analyzing information and evaluating results to solve problems and choose the best solution
Ability to work with ideas that require an extensive amount of thinking
Careful about detail and thorough in completing tasks
Reliable, responsible and dependable
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's or master's degree in architecture from an NAAB accredited program
Minimum 5-7 years of experience
Registered Architect or demonstrated progress toward becoming a Registered Architect
