The Estimating Assistant is responsible for entering detailed pricing for the development of bid quotations. He/ she should have relevant experience in spreadsheets and word documents on various projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include the following. Other duties will likely be assigned. • Prepare estimates. • Prepare scope letters and proposals. • Answer incoming phone calls on occasion. • Ability to update and manage project folders, spreadsheets, and trackers. • Ensure documents are centrally saved in the company's drive within the confidential estimating folder(s) • Assist project managers with takeoffs and pricing changes. • Comply with all Company operating policies, procedures, and safety programs as established. • Perform additional assignments as required by the needs of the company or as directed by executives.
QUALIFICATIONS
PREFERRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE • High School diploma or GED required. • Construction/ HVAC preferred.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, (Google, Word and Excel)
Construction industry background preferred.
