Responsibilities
Monitor the operation of anaerobic digesters, gas purification systems, and other plant equipment to ensure proper functioning
Adjust and maintain process variables such as temperature, pressure, flow rate, and pH levels to maximize gas production
Operate various plant equipment and machinery, including pumps, valves, compressors, blowers, generators, etc.
Troubleshoot operational issues or malfunctions
Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulations
Monitor temperature, pressure, flow rates, and gas composition
Keep accurate records of O&M activities
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations
Respond promptly to emergencies, alarms, and abnormal conditions; mitigate risks and minimize downtime
Requirements
HS Diploma (or equivalent)
3+ years of industrial electrical & mechanical experience (motors, blowers, controls & pumps)
Preferred: Knowledge of anaerobic digesters, gas compression systems, chromatographs, and flow meters
PLC experience is a BIG PLUS!
Ability to pass a physical, drug screen, and background check
