In this role, you will:
Provide support for more experienced Small Business Underwriters
Prepare reports within Small Business Banking
Review basic consumer requests, related to decisions, products and process
Gather information to make appropriate decisions
Ensure products meet company and industry guidelines
Receive direction from managers, more experienced Underwriters and exercise independent judgment while developing understanding of programs, collateral and risk
Collaborate and consult with managers, internal and external business partners and more experienced underwriters
Required Qualifications, US:
6+ months of Client services, Administrative, Underwriting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Commercial real estate credit underwriting experience
Knowledge and understanding of real estate or commercial loans
Exposure to Wells Fargo BLAST (Business Lending and Sales Tracking) system
Exposure to Wells Fargo AFS (Automated Financial Systems)
Loan operations experience
Knowledge and understanding of commercial loan operations
Knowledge and understanding of loan processing, loan document preparation or loan document post-closing review
Knowledge and understanding of underwriting: commercial real estate property types
Reporting experience
Customer service focus with the ability to listen to customer needs and recommend solutions
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
Ability to work in a fast paced deadline driven environment
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents/reports
Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
