Job Description:

Position Summary:
The primary purpose of the People Relations Office Specialist will be to support the day-to-day operations of the administrative office and human resources department with a specific focus on clerical duties, training coordination and compliance, and project management.
Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or GED required.
2. Associate degree in business, human resources or related field preferred.
3. One year of experience in human resources preferred.
4. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
5. Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
6. A valid California driver's license is required of staff who have regular driving duties, and the driving record must meet the requirements of their position and be approved by the agency's insurance company.

Essential Job Functions:

8. Operate a vehicle for company-related activities as needed, including mail drop off, attend offsite meetings, and transport to and from other agency locations.
9. Physical, mental and emotional health adequate to perform duties.

Responsibilities:
1.Provide administrative support to the administration office and human resources department, such as greeting and assisting employees and clients, answering phones, filing, document preparation, maintaining records, taking meeting notes, and scheduling appointments.
2. Point person for administrative office, including but not limited to maintenance, management of mail, ordering office supplies, equipment, and errands as needed.
3. Responsible for coordinating staff training and travel, ensuring appropriate documentation and compliance related to required trainings.
4. Provide administrative support to the agency's online training system and provide reports as needed.
5. Support onboarding and offboarding processes with direction from human resources team members.
6. Conduct general personnel file audits as well as support in preparation for agency and program audits and recertifications.
7. Provide project management support for human resources and administration.
8. Ensure agency forms are available and up to date.
9. Performs data entry and ensures the accurate maintenance of computerized files and rosters.
10. Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access.
11. Basic knowledge of all programs within the agency.
12. Responsible for preventing and controlling infection.
13. Responsible for maintaining a culture of quality and safety.
14. Effectively use de-escalation skills and techniques for crisis prevention.
15. Properly administer the C-SSRS to help prevent suicide.
