Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled PeopleSoft Technical Team Lead with extensive experience in PeopleSoft HCM 9.2, specifically focusing on Time and Labor and Absence Management modules. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, a deep understanding of PeopleSoft architecture, and the ability to lead technical teams in designing, developing, and supporting complex PeopleSoft solutions.
Responsibilities:
Perform analysis, design, coding, and testing for the PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 system.
Design technical solutions that align with business requirements and adhere to application architecture standards.
Develop technical solutions using PeopleTools Application Designer, Application Engine, PeopleCode, Page and Field Configurator.
Provide production support, including troubleshooting, fixing, and performing maintenance activities.
Create detailed technical design specifications and other necessary project documentation.
Develop reports and queries using SQL, PeopleSoft Query, XML Publisher, and SQR.
Engage with users and subject matter experts to gather requirements, participate in design discussions, and support user testing.
Collaborate with analysts and other developers to resolve complex defects and issues.
Work closely with the development team to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products on-time.
Lead 10+ developers for a complex project delivery.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Systems, or a related field.
10+ years of development experience with PeopleSoft systems.
4+ years of experience working with the following PeopleSoft modules: Core HR, Base Benefits, Payroll for North America, Time and Labor, Absence Management.
Time and Labor or Absence Management experience is a must.
2+ year's experience with Agile software delivery methodologies and Jira software.
Strong programming skills and a good understanding of relational databases.
Experience developing on an Oracle Database platform is strongly preferred.
Proven experience in documenting defect information, including analysis, steps to reproduce, and technical fixes.
Agile, PeopleSoft or Oracle certificate is strongly preferred.
Federal project experience is strongly preferred.
