BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated ETL Informatica Developer for an opportunity in Jersey City, NJ


Position Title: ETL Informatica Developer

Expected Duration: 12 Months.


Job Type: CONTRACT, (Hybrid)


Monday- Friday (5x8)


A candidate who is authorized to work independently


Pay Range: $65- $70/hr.


Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).



ROLE SUMMARY



Description:

• The IICS (Informatica Cloud) and Snowflake Business Intelligence ETL Developer is a key, hands-on role that will develop and deliver solutions that enable the collection, transformation, and management of information from one or more sources. This role will be integral in migrating the data warehouse to re-platforming the ETL to Informatica Cloud IICS.
  The ideal Developer for this role can handle end-to-end Data Warehouse and Data Integration by taking into consideration the business cases, objectives, and requirements. The technical domain of the position includes Snowflake cloud data warehouse and the Data Integration, App & API Integration, Data Replication, and Mass ingestion services of Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services. In addition, the responsibilities will include data integration, data architecture, information delivery, infrastructure, testing, and performance tuning for all components of the project.
  
  Participates in ETL Design of new or changing mappings and workflows with the team and prepares technical specifications.
  Creates ETL Mappings, Mapplets, Workflows, and Worklets using Informatica PowerCenter 10.x and prepare corresponding documentation.
  Designs and builds integrations supporting standard data warehousing objects (type-2 dimensions, aggregations, star schema, etc.).
  Performs source system analysis as required.
  Works with DBAs and Data Architects to plan and implement appropriate data partitioning strategy in Enterprise Data Warehouse.
  Implements versioning of the ETL repository and supporting code as necessary.
  Develops stored procedures, database triggers, and SQL queries where needed.
  Implements best practices and tunes SQL /queries for optimization.
  Loads and transforms data from various external sources to Relational database using Informatica.
  Worked with complex transformations such as XML, XML parser, Java, and HTTP transformation and have designed SCD typ2 workflows.
  Works with Informatica Data Quality (Analyst and Developer)
