Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Maryland Heights, MO that is seeking a Business Analyst (API, Messaging).

Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and technically proficient Business Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our platform architects to develop solutions for automated Email/SMS/Autocall messaging to our customers. You will also collaborate with external teams to manage data payloads and create comprehensive documentation for our development, QA, and front-end teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement solutions based on fully formed business requirements


• Collaborate with platform architects and external teams to manage data payloads


• Create detailed documentation for development, QA, and front-end teams


• Ensure projects are not blocked by escalating issues to management promptly


• Drive assigned tasks to completion with a strong sense of ownership

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience with API calls for real-time data requests


• Proficiency in working with SFTP file structures for non-time sensitive data


• Knowledge of KAFKA feed requirements (or other real time streaming platform)


• Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL queries

Preferred Experience:

• Background in development and understanding of data transport technologies


• Experience with messaging platforms related to Email, SMS, and outbound dialers


• Familiarity with CSG billing systems and the cable industry

Soft Skills:

• Ability to understand and conceptualize projects beyond the immediate scope


• Strong documentation skills


• Self-starter with a proactive approach to acquiring necessary knowledge

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
