As the Facility Management Hard Services Building Owner within our Energy and Assests Management group, you will be responsible for assuring the Utility equipment is continuously operating in a validated state. The Building Owner will work closely with key stakeholders in a variety of departments within the manufacturing sites to assure all design changes, commissioning needs, and operational support requirements are met. This role will also have individual contributor responsibilities.
The Local Facility Management Group at Framingham Biologics manufacturing site is responsible to ensure that the manufacturing equipment/systems used in the manufacture and storage of Sanofi products are safe and fit for purpose in accordance with Sanofi Corporate standards and industry regulatory requirements. This encompasses work processes that originate with the identification of a new or revised asset, the design, installation, verification and validation of the asset, the maintenance of the asset in its commissioned/qualified/validated state and the retirement of the asset at the end of its life.

Main Responsibilities:
The Building Owner of Engineering will:
Manage a team of individual contributors (e.g., 7-12 engineers)
Support and participate in Autonomous Production Team (APT) manufacturing structure
Prioritize workload of team and assign projects
Act as primary interface for Utilities Engineering with Project Management, Validation and Quality for the equipment in their area
Be responsible for the management, mentoring and development of Utilities Engineering staff
Provide oversight to project contractors
Participate in department initiatives designed to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of Utilities Engineering
Be an active member of the Framingham Engineering and Project Management Team
Oversee Metrics to drive task completion with team
Provide leadership to direct reports
Participate in/support in audits (e.g., quality, safety, etc.), internal or external
Maintain cGMP compliance of equipment (e.g., on-time periodic reviews, GMP drawing set ownership, etc.).

About You
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in Engineering and 10+ years of experience OR a Master's degree in Engineering and 8+ years of experience in a related field. Will also consider no degree with 15+ years of targeted experience.
Minimum of 6 years' experience in a management role
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in effectively managing technical manufacturing support teams
Demonstrated knowledge of cGMPs and expertise in current Engineering and Commissioning & Qualification (C&Q) methods utilizing industry guidance for applied risk management methods for the operation, commissioning and qualification of Utility systems in a biopharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated design, start-up, and/or troubleshooting expertise in Utility systems and biopharmaceutical manufacturing systems.
Knowledge of FDA and EU regulatory requirements pertaining to bio-processing facilities
Excellent written and verbal presentation skills to support interactions with site management
Must be able to oversee facilitation of practices consistent with the site Engineering and C&Q program during the execution of projects as well as application for legacy systems and equipment
Possess strong interpersonal, organizational and technical skills
Strong leadership skills to enable high performance teams in a rapidly changing business environment
Must be able to establish successful working relationships with stakeholders (Quality, Manufacturing, Facilities, Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) to ensure high quality deliverable meeting cGMP and site quality requirements
Experience with long- and short-term planning, based on strategic and tactical decision-making.
