The Zurich HR Service Center is seeking a motivated HR Service Center Representative. This role serves as the primary contact to all employees/former employees and retirees on payroll, benefits and other Human Resources transactions and policy related questions. Handles customer service inquires and problems to provide an effective customer service and clear advice to customers. We are open to hiring talent based out of our Zurich headquarters in Schaumburg, IL.
In this role you will be responsible for:
Be a primary contact for current and former employees on payroll, benefit, and other Human Resources transactions.
Provides excellent customer service.
Interacts with one or more vendors in response to employee issues.
Monitor Human Resources Services processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
Access various Human Resources systems to process data and analyze this to facilitate decision making and provide an effective customer service delivery.
Identify and comply with the main principles relevant to legal and regulatory controls that govern standard work practices within Human Resources Service.
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent and 3 or more years of experience in the Customer Service area
OR
Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an associate degree and 1 or more years of experience in the Customer Service area
Preferred Qualifications:
In-depth knowledge of benefits, policies, payroll, and other HR-related issues as well as federal and state regulatory requirements
Experience with SAP, including Payroll or Benefits modules and ADP eTime
Knowledge of taxes, benefits, and direct deposit
Accounting experience
Advanced Microsoft Office skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong organization skills
At Zurich, compensation for roles is influenced by a variety of factors, including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. Additional rewards may encompass short-term incentive bonuses and merit increases. We encourage candidates with salary expectations beyond the provided range to apply, as they will be considered based on their experience, skills, and education. The salary indicated represents a nationwide market range and has not been adjusted for geographic differentials pertaining to the location where the position may be filled. The proposed hourly rate for this position is $23.65- $32.55, with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 5%.
