We are searching for a Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and lead all activities associated with the overall execution of the project from RFP to Close-Out in order to minimize risk and maximize return. The PM manages backlog, scheduling, planning, submittals, supplier and subcontractor buyout and coordination, change orders, project closeout, and final project profitability. The Project Manager is the one who makes it happen with our customers.
Your Role:
Manage the RFP pipeline and proposal process on a per project basis from pursuit to contract execution; ensure adequate bidding volume and active contract backlog to support revenue goals. Active business developer with architects, engineers, owners, developers, and suppliers for relationships and projects that support RGC's business lines. Aggressive in securing new business.
Manage vendor and subcontractor resources. Identify and obtain construction materials, supplies, internal and external equipment needs, and negotiate subcontractor agreements prior to startup.
Oversee project performance in order to eliminate risk and to achieve technical excellence, safety and engineering standards, on time completion, and target profits.
Ensure project positive cash flow by managing the pay application process. Review and approve all project related purchases ensuring accuracy and proper cost coding. Identify and process change requests in an accurate and timely manner.
Provide support to superintendents, maintain jobsite quality control and safety, and ensure client satisfaction.
Report on all aspects of the project to Executive Leadership. Maintain complete and accurate project documentation. Prepare regular forecast updates and cost analysis.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and establish process documentation.
Your Requirements:
At least three years' experience in contract management and cost estimating
Experience in soil mechanics, foundation design, ground improvement, and earth retention systems
Ability to understand and apply financial and management principles to ensure project is on time and within budget
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with tight time frames, all to the same level of achievement
Proficient in MS Office, general familiarity with construction accounting software

Must be a team player, self-motivated, flexible, and detail oriented
