Seeking a highly skilled Senior Low-Voltage Consultant with strong design expertise. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of low-voltage systems and infrastructure, along with significant experience in designing and implementing solutions for various projects. BICSI certification is a plus
Responsibilities:
1. Lead low-voltage design efforts for projects of varying size and complexity.
2. Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and develop comprehensive design solutions.
3. Conduct site surveys and assessments to evaluate existing low-voltage infrastructure and determine project scope.
4. Develop detailed design documentation, including drawings, schematics, specifications, and technical reports.
5. Provide technical guidance and support to project teams throughout the design and implementation phases.
6. Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to low-voltage systems.
7. Assist in the evaluation and selection of low-voltage equipment, components, and resources.
8. Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure that designs meet industry standards and client expectations.
9. Mentor junior staff members and provide training on low-voltage design principles and practices.
Requirements:
1. BICSI RCDD (Registered Communications Distribution Designer) certification.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in low-voltage consulting.
3. Fiber And Copper
4. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
5. Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
6. Experience working in a collaborative team environment.
7. Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations governing low-voltage systems (e.g., NEC, ANSI/TIA).
