As we continue to expand globally, we are seeking a visionary and dynamic leader to serve as Vice President of Product and Talent. This role will be instrumental in ensuring the delivery of our signature workout, managing and scaling our Training Academy, and supporting franchise locations from pre-opening through operational success.
Position Overview
The Vice President of Product and Talent will be the steward of the JETSET Pilates workout and product, championing consistency and excellence in every class. This leader will oversee the Training Academy operations, manage a team of Training Managers, and assist franchise locations with staffing plans and instructor development. The position is remote with significant travel to support studio openings, training initiatives, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Stewardship of the JETSET Pilates Workout and Product:
Ensure the delivery of high-quality reformer Pilates classes that align with the JETSET brand.
Maintain and uphold consistency in instructor performance, teaching techniques, and overall class experience.
Leadership of the Training Academy:
Oversee the scheduling, logistics, and success of the Training Academy.
Manage a team of Training Managers and foster a culture of mentorship and continuous learning.
Scale the Training Academy to regional centers as the company grows rapidly.
Innovation in Training and Development:
Introduce innovative training programs and workshops, integrating the latest industry trends and research to maintain JETSET Pilates' leadership in fitness education.
Develop specialized workshops to address evolving client needs and instructor growth opportunities.
Lead instructor training sessions as necessary to uphold quality and consistency across all studios.
Mentor Training Managers and instructors during live sessions to ensure adherence to JETSET Pilates standards.
Continuously enhance the Training Academy curriculum, incorporating cutting-edge techniques, tools, and best practices.
Collaborate with internal teams and external experts to update and refine training materials, ensuring relevance and engagement.
Analyze training outcomes to identify areas for improvement and implement data-driven updates to programs.
Support for Franchise Locations:
Act as a strategic partner to franchisees, guiding them in staffing plans from pre-opening to fully operational studios.
Assist with instructor recruitment, training, and development to ensure alignment with JETSET standards.
Provide on-site support for new studio openings, including team-building and leadership development.
Innovation in Training and Development:
Develop and implement innovative training programs and workshops, staying ahead of industry trends.
Continuously enhance the Training Academy curriculum to equip instructors with cutting-edge techniques and tools.
Oversight of The Collective:
Manage and optimize The Collective, JETSET Pilates' online learning management system.
Ensure the platform delivers engaging, up-to-date content to support instructors and franchisees.
Franchisee Support and Growth:
Partner with franchisees to create personalized growth strategies, aligning with their unique market dynamics.
Provide strategic insights and support to enhance franchise performance and profitability.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business, Sports Management, Health & Wellness, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of leadership experience in fitness or related industries.
Proven success in scaling training programs and managing teams across multiple locations.
Multi-unit supervisory experience and familiarity with franchise models preferred.
Current CPR/AED certification.
