We are a fast paced and growing Construction Management Firm in the Tampa Bay Area that is looking for an experienced Project Superintendent specifically in the Commercial Interiors sector of construction. We are looking for a professional that is wanting to make an impact on the growth of a very talented group of existing construction professionals.
Reporting to the President, the Project Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing all jobsite activities related to the planning and/or building of a commercial interior project including subcontractor planning and scheduling, submittal reviews, quality control, onsite safety, material deliveries, coordination of project plan with an assigned Project Manager at the home office, and overall management of Client needs and expectations.

Responsibilities
Do a detailed review of all the contract documents given to build the project
Review subcontractor supplier scopes in their contract awards for compliance to the contract documents
Prepare a weekly two week look ahead schedule in logical steps and budgeted time requirements to meet Client expectations and support the Project Manager in his efforts to keep the project schedule on-time including the requirements for material procurement
Be an active collaborative problem solver to proactively look for possible conflicts and problems on a project with the assigned Project Manager, and take measures to avoid them
Assist the Project Manager in controlling costs within the established budget
Conduct daily onsite inspections and monitor compliance with the Tampa Bay Constructors corporate standards for quality, safety, and overall presentation
Cultivate long-term trusting relationships with Clients
Represent Tampa Bay Constructors at relevant industry events
Implementing the Tampa Bay Constructors mutually agreed upon operational processes, systems, tools and reports
Engage in regularly scheduled project meeting with Clients and Design Professionals
Qualifications
Desired 5-10 years in the A,E,C industry, specifically with experience in the Commercial Interiors specialty. This is not an entry level Project Superintendent position.
Supportive knowledge of the Tampa Bay Market and potential sub/vendor market is essential.
Must possess excellent communication skills - both verbal and written, with ability to utilize technology as a tool to better manage the project
