A global, industry-leading chemical manufacturing company is seeking a Sustainability Analyst to join their team in Minneapolis, MN or Cleveland, OH. Reporting to the Global Sustainability Director, the incumbent will be responsible for conducting Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) and developing material transparency documents including HPDs and Manufacturer's Inventories. This is a hybrid role, requiring 3 days a week in the office.
The Role:
Educate and guide internal stakeholders on sustainability practices, certifications, and LCA methodologies.
Assist business partners in obtaining sustainability certifications, ensuring transparency and adherence to appropriate standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability attributes into new product development.
The Candidate:
Bachelors Degree in engineering, sustainability, environmental science or related field
3+ years of experience developing sustainability certifications
Proficient in Life Cycle Assessment software such as GaBi and/or SimaPro as well as various emissions factor databases
Prior experience with Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) and Health Product Declarations (HPDs)
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence various stakeholders.
