Job Description: The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of project managing experience in structural steel industry, thorough knowledge of fabrication and erection standards and procedures, be able to handle multiple jobs at once, and have general knowledge of AISC standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and oversee detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets for structural steel fabrication and erection projects.
Ensure all work adheres to fabrication and erection standards, procedures, and AISC guidelines.
Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining progress updates and communicating with stakeholders on timelines and milestones.
Work closely with engineers, drafters, and construction teams to ensure project success.
Maintain accurate records of project activities, including contracts, schedules, and change orders.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing concerns and providing updates throughout the project lifecycle.
