UC Health is hiring a full-time Program Coordinator for the Mobile Crisis Team's first shift at the UC Medical Center.
The Program Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Department Leader with daily department administrative functions. The Program Coordinator is required to be proactive in the development of business practices and plans that improve operations and cost effectiveness, may assist other management personnel in the department as well as be responsible for payroll and department records. Must have the ability to communicate effectively to all levels of the organization, and work collaboratively with associates, physicians, vendors, and external customers to promote a positive environment.

Schedule meetings for the Department Leader and other department personnel as needed. Coordinate scheduling for department conference rooms. Attend departmental meetings, committee meetings and record minutes, review and provide minutes for management review.
Maintain confidentiality of patient and associate information. Answer department phones; greet vendors, employees and physicians who enter department. Facilitate visiting staff and new personnel.
Convey a professional image for the department. Order and maintain all related department supplies and ensure the area is stocked appropriately. Ensure purchase orders are received and assists with resolving invoice payment issues. Assists with keeping track of departmental budget. Maintain confidentiality of employee information, initiate and develop positive relationships with associates, management, and health care providers, exhibiting respect, flexibility and cooperation at all times.
Communicate in a way that conveys appropriate empathy and compassion; utilize department and hospital resources to achieve positive outcomes. Assist in the interpretation of policies and procedures to staff. Assist Department Leader in updating policies, maintaining preventative maintenance paperwork and databases, and ensuring regulatory documentation is updated in a timely manner.
Assist leadership with any regulatory body visits to the healthcare facility. Serves as a positive role model in representing the department and UC Health values, policies and procedures. Takes the initiative in identifying and facilitating the resolution of administrative and departmental problems through research, communication and cooperation with internal and external personnel.
Manages the payroll process for the department staff members. Edits payroll and approves payroll. Monitors requests for paid time off, absences and unpaid leave as needed. Possesses working knowledge of payroll procedures and provides analysis of overtime and absences. Works cooperatively with Department Leader to schedule PTO and to insure appropriate coverage. Other duties as requested and assigned.
