Role Responsibilities
Working across functions, the Senior Analyst plays a critical role in understanding and analyzing SGS's Maturing Inventory
Through the Maturing Inventory Review, the Senior Analyst provides direction and recommendations on capital investment strategy
Work closely with supply chain leadership, operating units, and brand house teams to develop 3-, 5-, and 12-Year forecasts
Manage the annual update of the SGS ROIC in collaboration with the Corporate Strategy group and Brand Houses, providing key insights at brand-market level to executive leadership and commercial teams
Highlight the impact of innovations and category growth projections on existing business and our ability to support liquid needs by working closely with key Ops and Finance teams
Coordinate and manage monthly reporting, gathering of forecasts and analysis for global maturing inventory, working closely with Supply Chain teams
Provide presentation support for SCLT/ELT/BOD cash presentation materials
Analyze monthly Balance Sheet fluctuations and provide explanations to the corporate team
Prepare quarterly Balance Sheet reviews and present to Corporate Controllership
Develop broad knowledge base to undertake and deliver ad-hoc projects/analysis within the Supply Chain domain or broader SGS organization
Qualifications
Education: An undergraduate degree in a quantitative field is required (e.g., finance, accounting, economics, etc.)
Years of experience: 2 to 3 years; solid business acumen
Industry experience: Consumer Product Goods experience or consulting experience preferred
Excellent spreadsheet and analytical skills
SAP, Business Intelligence and Microsoft Office application experience preferred
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Process improvement oriented around reporting/analysis efficiencies
Ability to effectively communicate through presentations and have a good track record of building the story
Salary Range - The salary range for this role, based in Chicago with a salary range of $70,000 - $75,000 along with an annual bonus, 401K match, profit sharing, and medical and wellness benefits. The salary range is commensurate with the candidate's location, experience, and skillset. The range will vary if outside of this location.
