Job Description Content:
*Verifies patient identification before proceeding with any procedure.
*Assists supervisor or designee in coordinating procedures properly. Informs supervisor when cases are completed or pending and signs in and out of department correctly.
*Keeps work area clean and stocked at all times; equipment is cleaned daily.
*Adapts to change and unusual circumstances and remains controlled during demanding
situations.
* Reads and observes all departmental safety/infection control policies.
Position Requirements:
Licensure/Certification/Registration: NA
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience: 1 year of healthcare experience is preferred, but not required. 1-2 years of customer service experience is required.
Special Qualifications: Ability to understand the unique operations of a busy imaging department. Excellent verbal and written skills to facilitate communication with physician, nursing, and technical personnel. Ability to deal efficiently and courteously with all hospital personnel. Exercises rational independent judgment based on the knowledge of department and hospital policies and procedures.
