Job Description:

What will you do?


  • Perform adjustment, functional, and operational testing on Power Control Switches following standard procesures using electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills and knowledge.

  • Troubleshoot and correct wiring and functional problems

  • Upload firmware and download parameters, Control Panel, and other electronic components.

  • Setup electronic components and protective relays per vendor manuals

  • Communicate problems with the wiring diagram or outline drawing with supervision and Engineering.

  • Upload firmware and download parameters, Control Panel and other electronic components.

  • Set up electronic components and protective relays per vendor manuals.

  • Assure quality and document all work produced

  • Comply with company rules and regulations

  • Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner as directed

  • Participate in monthly quality feedback meetings

  • Willing and able to work in accordance with Lean methods and practices

  • Willing to participate in continual training and willing to assist in the training of other employees


What qualifications will make you successful?

  • Associates degree in Electrical Engineering

  • Wiring certification preferred

  • Ability to effectively communicate with management, engineering, and other internal and external clients.

  • Willingness to participate in continual training and assist in the training of co-workers.

  • Experience in AC/DC circuit analysis

  • Experience in electrical testing and troubleshooting

  • Experience using voltmeter and continuity testing

  • Ability to read wiring diagrams

  • Experience with Windows applications
