Intellisource is looking for a VDI expert who can assist our partner in determining and implementing the next iteration of highly performing VDI for varying use cases.

Schedule: M-F 8 hours days, flexibility needed. Hybrid

CONTRACT POSITION- contracted until project completion

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate our partners current VDI state


• Envision and illustrate future direction and platform options for all use cases


• Detail a precise roadmap for any migration or enhancement


• Hands-on development/collaboration of the future production, test and disaster recovery desktops across the team.


• Test all new VDI development, rising above pre-defined performance standards


• Redefine the ongoing maintenance practices, tools, and performance metrics, setting a new highwater mark in VDI processing


• Assure all downstream EUC engineers and admins understand and take pride in the ownership of the future state systems and processes


• Assure all changes and processes are documented accurately for future reference

Technical Requirements:

• Deep understanding of EUC technologies, relevant vendors and product knowledge


• Map technologies to business vision and needs, use cases and define a corresponding strategy and roadmap to implement


• Evaluation and design of enterprise VDI architecture and solution development


• Collaboration with and immersion of existing staff in the new technology and processes

Business and Culture Competency:

• Builds relationships and communicates effectively with stakeholders


• Leads, inspires, and builds trust with team members through collaboration, ideation and development


• Demonstrates intelligence through Creative problem solving and innovation


• Strong communicator, open to feedback and constructive criticism

Preferred:

• 5-7 years virtualization experience


• Bachelors/Masters in technical field


• Prior experience in the financial sector preferred
