Shift: (3:00 pm - 11:00 pm) M-F - 37.5 hours/week



Summary:



The Med/Surge Unit Supervisor provides oversight and direction for the Med/Surge (short-term Rehab) Unit on the evening shift ensuring quality patient care and staff accountability. This key position is responsible for the daily operations of the unit which operates similar to a hospital unit. It requires collaboration with other shift supervisors and a strong leader. The ideal candidate for the Med/Surge Unit Supervisor will have the ability to oversee patient care, supervise and develop team


members and work with other departments. Every other weekend and holiday rotation is required.



Requirements:



• Current RN license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.


• 5 years as a Charge Nurse or similar on a Med/Surge LTC/STR or hospital unit.


• 3+ years' experience in a nurse supervisory role with proven leadership ability.


• Excellent communication, organizational and teamwork skills.


• An equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required


knowledge, skills and abilities as cited above
