Salary: $100,000.00 USD Annually - $110,000.00 USD Annually
Description: One of my best client is currently seeking a Outbound Operations Manager for their facility located in central Florida. They are dynamic and rapidly expanding distribution organization, which prides itself on innovation, efficiency, and providing top-notch service to our customers. We're looking for a motivated and experienced Outbound Operations Manager to lead our outbound team to new heights.
Job Description: As an Outbound Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire outbound logistics process, ensuring that our products are delivered to our customers on time and in perfect condition. You will play a critical role in developing and implementing strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction. Your leadership and expertise will drive the success of our outbound operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the outbound team, including supervisors and associates
- Develop and implement efficient outbound processes and procedures
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement
- Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment and shipping
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate with the inventory control team
- Collaborate with other departments, including inbound operations, customer service, and transportation
- Train, mentor, and develop team members to achieve their full potential
- Maintain a safe and compliant work environment
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in a leadership role within a distribution center or warehouse environment
- Strong knowledge of outbound logistics processes and best practices
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant technology
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
