Job Description:

Are you ready to leverage your expertise in Lean Manufacturing principles and SAP to drive organizational improvements and lead the implementation of new products at Schneider Electric? We're looking for a Manufacturing Engineering Specialist who is passionate about utilizing their skills to bring about positive change within our organization.

What will you do?


  • Utilize Lean Manufacturing principles to lead implementation for improvement opportunities, including Kaizen facilitation.

    • BOM configuration in SAP

    • Design New Products in SAP

    • Configuration Work Centers (Scheduling, Capacity, Costing )

    • Routing (specifies the machine time, labor time center),

    • Shop floor mapping (design Product Strategy),

    • Validate Material Master (Define Materials and assembly Type, create workflows, UOM)

    • Define Production Version,

    • Define the PFEP.



  • Develop and maintain improvements to organizational capabilities for configured product, including equipment definition, selection and area design.

  • Support realization of adoption of Schneider Performance System for relevant domains and focus areas, including Manufacturing Time Definition, 5S/Visual Factory, Process Line Architecture, and Value Stream Management.


What skills and capabilities will make you successful?

  • Manufacturing process Layout optimization.

  • Experience in Time-motion studies and standardized work.

  • Hands-on experience with LEAN concepts (i.e., VSM, SMED, 8-Wastes, Takt Time, Jidoka, PokaYoke) and 6-Sigma project development

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

  • Bachelors degree required

  • 3 plus years manufacturing engineering experience

  • 3 plus year SAP experience
