The Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology has an exciting opportunity for a Post-Doctoral Associate position. The incumbent performs scientific research and studies under the supervision of managing staff. Moreover, the Post-Doctoral Associate promotes institutional recognition through literal contributions to the scientific community.

CORE QUALIFICATIONS
Ph.D. or similar (PharmD, etc) required.
No prior experience required.
Department Specific Functions
The Post-Doctoral Associate performs scientific research and studies in the field of molecular biology and hematopoiesis under the supervision of managing staff. Moreover, the Post-Doctoral Associate promotes institutional recognition through literal contributions to the scientific community.
Conducts in vitro and in vivo experiments of the role of epigenetic regulation in hematopoiesis Participates in lab meeting and journal club activities Supervises and trains undergraduate students and technicians, as needed Handles primary human specimens for in vitro culture, genome editing and in vivo engrafting, as needed Organizes and documents scientific experiments and results Applies for fellowship training awards from Federal and/or non-Federal sources
Experience:
Prior experience in molecular biology and/or hematology research is absolutely required.
Proficiency in written and oral English is absolutely required.
